And Stretch!

I’ve decided that without a doubt the devious and lovely Faery Sola is trying to make my first life body scream in terror, but gads does her new pose set give me much delight as I find my pixel self able to assume positions that would leave the real me in tears, of real tearage! It’s quite lovely to be able to spend a nice morning relaxing and stretching and contorting, soothing happiness, she has created it! I am left with a smile, as it should be!

Groping the Truth with Adam n Eve

My week began with good intentions, and as often happens, RL showed up at the door and much of what I’d SLplanned didn’t happen. However, before the knocking, I did manage to get some shopping done. Sachi Vixen at Adam N Eve lovingly and beautifully created a tribute to Etta James skin, making it so that if I didn’t have time to change much in SL this week, at least I was wearing something gorgeous.

I also had a chance to get to the Truth sale at Truth District, where our Evil Hairmaker has several of his recent styles at half price!!! I’ve grabbed a couple I didn’t have yet, but I must get back this evening before the sale ends for more as there are more on my NEED list. If you haven’t been there yet, just go now and “grab one of each” and you’ll be happy as we all know we can never have enough hair, and I’m pretty sure the sale ends very soon! Mocktastic

I love my face. And I love it even better when I get my Mock on. Mock has made with the deliciousness again with a couple of new makeups I simply could not resist. Best of all, they work so nicely across so many skins, which is a good thing as I swear I’m part chameleon! And how yum are these earrings eh? Three different lengths to choose from on those. I love versatility! Now excuse me, I’ma go play around in my makeup case!

Touchable Sn@tch

I like to touch things. I suppose you could say I’m very in touch with my tactile senses! When I saw this new release from Sn@tch hit the walls, my first impulse was to put my hand to the screen… to touch it. (And not just cause Ivey is a hot tamale!) For me that’s a sure sign of something well done, when I find myself wanting to reach out and feel. And with that I’ll just be over there, touching my new outfit. The End.

Triumphant

That’s just how I feel when an outfit falls together all on its own without any effort from me, and better still I love it! This time around it was the Triumphant Eyeshadow from Mock Cosmetics that made it all happen. Why yes, yes I did base my clothes on my makeup. When it’s this Mocktastic there’s no other way!

Out comes the new delicious dress from Boom, which I rather like to team up with my pornstars. Who says a dress needs heels eh? Some fun earrings from Apple May Designs work well with my new short and sassy locks from Dura. The Truth of the Temptation of Apple May

A few days back, Apple May of Apple May Designs released a new skin for her line called Sophie. It had been a long while since I’d tried Apple’s skins, and I was delighted to find Sophie not only fit my AV well, but is a temptation of delectability and deliciousness. Sophie comes in 7 tempting tones, each with 4 make ups in the Eccentric line. I love them all, but my fave of the moment is the Peachy tone with Eccentric 2.

I’m so slow at getting things blogged, one of my New Year’s resolutions is to work on that, with a little help from my Partner In Crime, the Jentastic. A few of my favorite recent finds are the Atomic Skinny Jeans which I’ve added to my folder of Top 10 Jeans, and the Atonement Top from Kyoot that I found at a past Collabor88, but it’s still available in the main store if you didn’t get it yet, I’m sure you’ll love it and its textures as much as I do. Lastly, but far from leastly, Truth Hawks has tempted me to buy new hair again! I just can’t keep up with that Evil Wizard of Hairyness! Andrea was released a couple of weeks ago, and I need last weeks release yet, and soon it’ll be time for this weeks release, which no doubt I’ll need too!! Well, enough of my babble, I must plan more pics and posts and we all most go shop and give in to tempations!!!

Look of the Moment – Earthy Goodness

I have this love for brown. It’s such a delicious color and makes me feel all cozy comfortable. So I decided to dress my darling self up in some earthy goodness, going for a comfortable yet gorgeous look. I do believe I’ve accomplished just that. (But we all know I think I’m gorgeous! Pixel vanity, I has it!)

I was probably doing some crazy mesh shopping over at Jane when I decided to do some happy wandering, and strolled my cute arse right into Pink Inc. And there she was, on the wall… waiting for me. A delightful mesh mini in a chocolate tone clearly designed to melt my heart. I love when wandering leads to happies I didn’t know before!

Team it up with my favorite wrap shirt from Sn@tch, my glee giving pornstars from UBU, some delectable jewelry from Amorous and of course my beloved makeup from Mock and I am all ready to… sit in my chair? This is what I’ll be doing as I contemplate my next shooting session or shopping trip! Comfy chair makes for a happy Jeni.

Warming Up with Adam n Eve and Sleepy Eddy too

January where I live RL, we are usually knee deep in snow and frozen in frigid temps, but not this year, not til I ventured over to Happy Mood in Winter for some virtual snow. The very next day, our temps dropped and we woke to a blanket of snow. I was glad I had, for my virtual visit, a hot new skin and some great new group gifts to wear.

Sachi Vixen over at Adam n Eve has been churning out some gorgeous and hot skins lately, and her latest hotness, Natalie, is my fave so far. Natalie is available in 4 delectable skin tones, all so well tinted and highlighted, I just love them all, but I’m wearing Natural here as I generally prefer lighter tones. They are available in 12 make up options, every one more luscious then the last. I’m wearing Bare here, as I was feeling a bit casual for my chilly outing. If you haven’t been to Adam n Eve lately, you need to get on over there, and I have heard rumor of even more hotness coming in the near future! Go Sachi Go!

I love the newest group gift from Sleepy Eddy, the detail is just perfect, I love the brown and I want this in RL too. It’s a men’s sweater, but who doesn’t love a cozy man sweater on a chilly day? Insufferable Dastard also sent out a group gift, eyes in three lovely shades of brown, my favorite being the Medium Brown. Another group goody is from Kooky, she’s switching her subscriber system to a new one, and by signing up on the new, you’re thanked with a set of cozy boots, in his and her sizes, I chose the brown, tho they come in other colors too.

Now you’ve got lots to do if you wanting your SL turned up a few degrees. Start with a new Natalie skins, grab some group love and have a great Friday the 13th!!!

Don’t Be Late, Be Fashionably Late

It’s time for the first round of Fashionably Late event from CHIC Management this year, and I couldn’t wait to show off a couple of the darling things you’ll find there. Sakide is one of the participants this time, and steps up with a saucy little number that shows off some of your finer points, and comes in a delicious selection of colors. I could not resist throwing on the green, it was too perfect with my earrings.

Girlfriends Gone Shopping!! Starting 2012 on the Right Foot with Skins!!

With the holidays over, it’s time to settle back into SL, get some blogging, shopping, sorting, socializing, etc done. I was delighted on Saturday to hear that Hey Girlfriend!’s very own talented Sachi had worked her artistic magic again, this time with a delicious new skin named after our lovely Harper. Jeni and I rushed right over to try it out. Sachi, being the sweetie she is, has a gift set out, so when you demo Harper, you’ll get some yummy make ups.

As you may notice, our Jeni was so excited about it all that she just had to show us some of her many talents, with a little help from the goofy grid.

Earlier in the day someone in the group mentioned shoes. I’ve been looking around for new shoes and boots lately so I tp’d along to SLink. I hate shoes, RL and SL, I’m so finicky when it comes to look, color, fit etc I just could pull out my prim hair. The grid was giving me grief, so I haven’t yet been able to try on demos, but I did grab a nice pile to try on when I can. I’m sure you’ll be seeing some SLink shoes here in the near future, I do love their quality.

It was so fun to see a few Girlfriends out, tho I wasn’t able to get pics of others that showed up, I did of course get Jeni and I, as well as AmazingGrace as she was slinking behind the shoe display.

We really do need to get the group out having more fun…and hopefully, you’ll get to see some of us here in the blog as we adventure about. And maybe even I’ll have shoes on…if I find some new ones. Back to shopping and whatnot, see you again soon. Oh, and have a very delightful New Year!!!
